Dallas is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Dallas is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

As a huge lover of ice cream, I can say this place is phenomenal! Unlimited toppings and the spoon magically changes colors from the cold (which I've never seen and thought it was super fun ). And to top it off, not only is the ice cream fantastic....but I love that it is crafted and served with love by people with special needs. An overall outstanding product with great service....and a great treat for kids (and their parents) at the end of their school day (if you happen to be there when school gets out you will likely have a line, but it is sooooo worth the wait!!!!)

We hired Howdy Homemade Ice Cream as a late night bite for our wedding and they were an absolute HIT! I have always loved Howdy Homemade Ice Cream and knew that if I had the opportunity to make it work that I would love to have them be a part of our wedding. Jessie was so easy and amazing to work with to get everything planned! And on the day of Deborah and Katie were so wonderful! They showed up just after the dancing had started so our guests loved the refreshing treat. Afterwards we received so many compliments on the ice cream! This is your sign to book Howdy Homemade for your event!! So much fun and so worth it!!!!

Most definitely friendly staff. The ice cream is delicious. I don’t have pictures, it was that good. I tried my son’s Peanut Butter Chocolate. It’s the perfect combination of salty and sweet. I had butter pecan (with plenty of pecans not just the flavor) and salted caramel)

This is a cute Homemade Ice Cream shop with a beautiful variety of flavors. They have workers that are special needs and have special talents at encouraging wonderful flavors. They did a wonderful job with presenting their quality product. Deborah is a manager who was taking good care of ensuring quality service and products being properly informed to clientele. I loved the Chocolate as all Get out and the Peanut Butter Chocolate ice cream. The scoops were generous and the pricing is so reasonable. 10/10 homemade and you can taste it. GO HERE!!! You won’t regret the smile that you leave with and the taste of fresh ice cream.

Visited here while on vacation. The ice cream is okay. Didn’t wow me or anything. This ice cream shop is extremely small. Literally one table and two chairs, anyone else who came had to get their ice cream to go or they ate it outside. Paid $18 for what is pictured. It wasn’t horrible but I probably would not visit again.
